    Our café is now open from 9am to 5pm (last orders 4.30pm) Monday to Saturday. We have a wonderful range of hot and cold drinks, cakes, scones and teacakes. We offer a lunch menu including pate, salads, pasties, tarts and more together with cream teas, toast and preserves and Honeybuns gluten free cakes. Our courtyard is open when the weather permits and dogs and children are very welcome both inside and out. We look forward to welcoming you.

  • Sam Cannon competition winner!

    We are delighted to announce the winner of our Sam Cannon competition. The winning photograph was taken by Rosie Mathisen from Bridport. She wrote: “This is the view from the Town Hall taken along West Street to Colmer’s Hill. I took this when I had my “training session” for photographing from the roof for the Rifles Parade in the Summer.” Congratulations Rosie and we look forward to seeing Sam’s painting of the photograph.   • Win an original Sam Cannon Painting

    Exclusive to Cilla & Camilla is your chance to win an original painting by local artist Sam Cannon. All you have to do is submit your own photograph of Bridport, Beaminster or the surrounding area to, together with a brief description of the photograph, and your telephone number. Sam will help us choose a winning image which she will then turn into an original piece of art for you to own.

    If you prefer to submit a hard copy image this can be done at our shops in either Bridport or Beaminster.

    Entry to the competition is free and entries must be received by 10.00 pm on Saturday 21 February 2015.

    You will become the lucky owner of an original painting – Sam Cannon will retain copyright for the purposes of prints and merchandise.

  • Eat Dorset Food Fair at Parnham House

    We will be at the Eat Dorset Food Fair in Beaminster this weekend – Saturday 18th and 19th October, 10am til 4pm. We will be selling Dartington and La Rochere glass. We will also be offering visitors the opportunity to win a Kitchen Aid Food Mixer (approx. retail value £300). Come along and see us together with lots of wonderful local food producers.

    Beaminster is very proud to host each year the well-established Beaminster Festival. From performing arts to visual arts, literature to current affairs, the line-up of events is impressive every year.

    Beaminster Festival Tanya Bruce-Lockhard, Chairman Philip Crawford and a team of dedicated volunteers ensure that every year gets better than the last. Apart from the plays, music, talks and workshops, art is also at the forefront during Beaminster Festival with businesses as well as the Public Hall coming alive with talented and recognised local artists as well as upcoming new talent.

    If you’re coming to Beaminster to attend one of the Festival events, make sure you also allow time to visit the largets Cilla and Camilla store at 22 The Square – right in the heart of this beautiful old town.
